EasyBazaar (“EasyBazaar”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This document combines our Privacy Policy and our specific Account Deletion procedures for Sellers.

12. Seller Account Deletion Policy

This section explains specifically how EasyBazaar Seller Center handles account deletion requests to ensure security, financial clearance, and legal compliance.

12.1 Identity Verification Requirement

Before any deletion request is processed, EasyBazaar requires identity verification to confirm that the request was submitted by the legitimate account owner.

• Verification may involve registered email addresses, phone numbers, or business documents.
• Failure to complete verification will result in rejection of the request to prevent unauthorized access or hacking.

12.2 Pending Obligations & Compliance Review

Submission of a request does not guarantee immediate deletion. We reserve the right to delay or reject requests in the following cases:

• Financial Obligations: Pending payouts, unpaid commissions, or unsettled taxes.
• Active Transactions: Ongoing orders, unresolved customer disputes, or active refund claims.
• Legal/Security: Active fraud investigations, security reviews, or audit requirements.

12.3 Restrictions on Re-Registration

Once a seller account is permanently deleted, EasyBazaar may restrict the creation of new accounts using the same business credentials, CNIC, or bank details to maintain platform integrity.

12.4 Permanent and Non-Recoverable Deletion

Once processed, access to store info, product listings, messages, and analytics will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.

12.5 Data Retention and Record Preservation

In accordance with Pakistani law and financial regulations, we retain specific records even after account deactivation:

• Financial Records: Transaction and tax history (retained for minimum 7 years).
• Security Logs: For fraud prevention and enforcement of marketplace policies.
• Audit Trails: To comply with legal and regulatory audit requirements.
